PunkRockerDave is continuing his impressive work with the Yorktown map, and you can see two further images below which admirably show off his all-new trench system on both the Union and Confederate lines.

He has also made this great new static of a log cabin, which is perfectly suited to the theme and era of the mod.

Today, the Battlefield 1861 team brings the community an update on a new map which is being developed for our next release.

The Siege of Yorktown is currently being worked on by the talented PunkRockerDave and you can see a number of WIP images from it below:

The team has also begun internal testing of elements of our next release, and we will be dissecting it to enable us to bring the community as polished and bug-free a version as possible when the time comes! Having had a good session on it myself, I can safely say that if you liked our first releases, then this will simply (and literally) blow you away!
